2024 Andover HS Roster Information

I want to reiterate the message discussed at the end of tryouts is always the same: The teams are fluid right now because it is extremely difficult to assess players at their full potential in a gymnasium and an indoor batting cage.

What does fluid mean? It means there are opportunities to move from one team to another based on ability, fastpitch IQ, performance, enthusiasm, commitment, and leadership.

The tryout doesn't end today. We have a number of talented athletes and our coaching staff is committed to watching the ongoing development of the players throughout the season.

This season goes by quickly! Embrace the opportunity to play the game and Bring It every day! GO HUSKIES!

AFP Booster Mission Statement

The purpose of the Andover High School Fastpitch Booster Club is to serve and support the Andover High School Girls’ Fastpitch Softball Program by enhancing the fastpitch softball experience both off and on the field. The Booster Club strives to accomplish this by devoting time and resources to meet the softball program needs. Fundraising endeavors are a primary objective. It serves as a liaison between the coaches, parents, players, the high school, and the Andover community. The Booster Club seeks to provide events which augment the athletic contests and to build team unity such as special game events and social activities. Booster Club members provide enthusiastic fan support to the team while fostering cooperation and good sportsmanship as governed by the Minnesota State High School League.
